This hospital was a great experience for me. I delivered my baby here a few months ago and had very thoughtful nurses and doctors who took very good care of me. The ER was also very respectful and kind. People who call this hospital a band-aid station are rude. This is a hospital with competent medical staff who know what they are doing. If this hospital was just a band aid station then it would not be employed with RN's and Physicians ect. I will definitely come back again :)
Less than a week later it became swollen and be developed a fever due to an infection. He had to be on an Iv at children's for 4 days and was very close to needing surgery. The doctors there said they never should have glued it, let alone use That much glue and fail to clean it. When my wife tried to submit a complaint, she was told they aren't actually a hospital so nothing could be done. We will never go there again
I have a friend who has been there three times recently and everyone is so kind and helpful. He went in as emergency and was fortunate enough to have been assigned to Dr, Reese (sp), a local who won the admiration of his family and friends with her kind, down to earth, manners and explanation of the situation. The nursing staff, cleaning personnel, reception greeters, cafeteria servers, volunteers, and others I may have missed mentioning were all very pleasant and helpful; it was comforting to those of us visiting the patient.
My son 18 month old son had a large gash on his after falling in the driveway. We rushed him to Wayne and (shockingly) were seen right away as a result of the blood gushing down his face. The doctor quickly came in and informed us it would need glued. We though he was going to clean it, but instead he went ahead and glued it with an extreme amount of glue.
Wayne hospital is a joke, and there is no such thing they call, family doctor's in greenville, u can't get help with any medical problem, they will purposely make u suffer, an expect u too suffer, an no medical care, cause they just don't feel like it, an want u to pay for nothing, an have to go somewhere else to get the proper medical care, that's double dipping, an in classes, triple dipping, no wonder anthem won't cover doctors an hospital scammers in Ohio, soooo glad I moved out of Ohio, I no will have a long life now, if u can't get help with large gull stones or a stomach virus, stay out of Ohio, this is Mrs. Barbara brune, an I will stand for what I say, an have proof of what I say.
Thank you ALL.
I went to Wayne Hospital in extreme pain in my legs and unable to walk. I could not feel my feet either. I had had a procedure done the week before and was unsure if it was from a complication of that. I went in with a blood pressure is 141/114 which the nurse stated there was nothing wrong with that reading. I spent 3 hours waiting in a wheel chair with my sister in law and two children. I had never been to that hospital before. I finally got taken back to a room where the nurse asked as few questions and I tried to explain what I was feeling in my legs as I was in tears. The doctor came in and I have him the doctor that did the original procedure but type him I didn't know if it was a side effect of not I just knew it wasn't normal. He left to call my doctor who happened to be a pain specialists. He comes back never one took a look at me or my legs and stated there was nothing he could do and he couldn't give me anything. I told him I didn't wasn't any drugs I wanted him to figure out what was wrong with my legs. He then proceeded to tell him I needed an MRI and that this hospital didn't have one. That was a lie as my sister in law stated that she had had 2 done and after hours also. That hospital almost killed me. I went to Miami Valley Hospital told then the exact same thing and they didn't need and MRI to figure out that I had blood clots in both my legs and if I waited they would have ended up in my lungs and killed me. I was seen immediatly and admitted.into the hospital because of the framers and my blood pressure being so high. Wayne Health care is a joke and if your so worried about drug addicts coming in you miss life threatening issues there is a problem with how you profile people. Miami Valley saved my life while you tried to act like I was faking it. When you didn't even exam person
