My son needed attention due to an accident while camping at the Jamestown Campground and the staff was great. Got us in and out with virtually no wait time. Everyone was very professional and accommodating.

I guess depending upon who's working and when, I came across some very nice and professional staff, but more often I've been met with ignorance, ineptitude and arrogance. They couldn't even take two payments with the invoices properly. They see the payment but don't know where it went towards. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

I took my husband to the ER with severe abdominal pain, vomiting and high fever. He has a history of diverticulitis. Arrived at 6:18pm. We waited in the ER waiting room for 1 hour before even being seen. Finally got in, waited 30 mins to be seen by Dr. Then waited over an hour to be told he needed a CT scan of abdomen. He had to drink contrast for the CT scan, so another hour there. Waited over an hour to get the results of the CT scan, in which he had a perforated bowel, which was now an an emergency, but they had no beds and he had to go to another hospital. An hour later we were told the helicopter would be there in 11 mins. The helicopter was there an hour and 30 mins later. He went to Hamot arriving around 2 am. By 3:07 am he was in surgery. Dr.'s said when he arrived, he was near death. 5 days and 5 surgeries later and he is still critical and still may not make it.

I had very nice people taking care of me when i had my surgery... the staff was great and so was my doctors. =)

What I am upset about is that, UPMC Horizon in Greenville took 8 hours to assess him. He could have died there in the ER waiting room. They have no system in place to see who could be critical or not, you just have to wait your turn to beat seen. My husband was screaming in pain in the waiting room and vomiting into a bag, while the previous people waiting slept and drank coffee. They did nothing to see if he was serious or not. I went up and told them what was going on and that he needed to be seen and they just said"aww". So if you think your loved one truly has a serious emergency, do not go to UPMC Horizon in Greenville, PA. Your loved one is a number to wait in line, not a person that could have a true emergency.

I waited an hour and a half before being seen then I was there another 3 hrs for them to tell me nothing was wrong and the one lady came in and didn't even ask my name or anything just said they were taking me for a test then the nurse practitioner came in told me everything was okay and walked out didn't even let me ask questions... I'm so glad they are basically shutting this place down
