I hired Smithway to replace the leaking flat roof on my Victorian large house. They took drone pictures in November, quoted a price at the start of December, and, after inspecting the job again, quoted a higher price, $13K for 11 squares, in the middle of January. After a delay of one week, waiting for materials, they completed the job in the second week after I signed the contract. They removed a superstructure of 2x4's and plywood that the tear-off revealed, at no extra cost. They worked full days in very cold and windy weather. The new PVC roof is water-tight. The flashings are caulked instead of counter-flashed. Smithway is not a restoration specialist but does good work.
