Stop by here for some local history then visit Annie Oakley ' s grave nearby. Then go to the Merchant House for something to eat. That's a great day.

Wonderful place for history in many areas. Military actions from the new American settlements to Desert Storm, with info on treaties with American Indians. Great exhibits of Annie Oakley and Lowell Thomas. A glimpse into days gone by, showing how people lived in the late 17th and early 18th century. Very nostalgic and educational.

Fantastic place. Lots of Annie Oakley things and found the statue in the park . The lady in the gift shop told us how to get there and there it was. We want to come back to the museum. Didn't have time today. It was a nice day.

Took our girlscout troop there and they LOVED it. They were in the 10 years old range, but this is great for all ages as there was lots of information to be had!

Wonderful walk back through time! Was very intrigued by the Annie Oakley display as well as the Native American artifacts. Well, worth the trip! Hope to go again soon. The military display was so moving...hats off to the curators!
